Christa’s Year of Weekly Giveaways #48 – Some Digital Fabric

I enjoy giving you guys stuff. I mean it, I really do! I’ve been hoarding some goodies for a few months, waiting for my latest feature to be published so that I could give away some of the fabric used in my article!

20140301_quilty_digital_fabricMy article on digital printing appeared in the March, 2014 issue of Quilty.

4 Winners This Week!

I was lucky enough to score several pieces of digitally printed fabric and let me tell you, it’s pretty cool stuff! First up for grabs is 4 fat quarters from Modern Yardage. I picked out the designs myself and thought it was super cool how they all came printed on the same piece of fabric. I’m sure one of you out there can make something very modern with it. :-)

20140303_modern_yardageThe second winner will receive samples of P&B‘s digital line, Xanadu. Sample pieces with  the cardboard headers on them are called “caps.” Cool, eh?

20140303_giveaway_xanaduThirdly, one lucky winner will receive the samples of Kaufman‘s Bloominscent. I think these pieces are a great example of what this technology is capable of!

20140303_giveaway_bloominescentFinally, winner number four will receive a bundle of samples from Spoonflower, showcasing several of their base cloth choices: canvas, silk, organic cotton sateen, cotton silk, and basic combed cotton. I know someone out there can get really creative with these pieces!

All four winners will be chosen at random, but if you prefer one of the specific fabric lots of fabric listed above, feel free to mention that in your comment.

And now for this week’s question: have you ever worked with digitally printed fabrics before? If so – what did you think of them?

This contest is open to everyone, including my international friends. The giveaway will run through next Wednesday at noon. Thanks for stopping by!
