It’s Time for Another Fabric Giveaway – One from Me, One from Craftsy

I usually don’t promote companies who sell fabric since that’s an integral part of my business. However, when it comes to Craftsy, I don’t mind singing their praises. They’ve been very good to me in helping get my name out there via their blog, so I don’t mind returning the favor whenever I hear about something cool they are doing. 🙂

craftsy_kitI’m kind of partial to the Blue Garden kit, myself!

From now through August 27th, you can win a Craftsy quilt kit (including backing) from one of the two choices above. Craftsy is holding this giveaway on their website, so be sure and click here to enter.

And now, just to sweeten the pot, I’ll add my own giveaway to the fun! I have a heaping pile of hunks and chunks leftover from ends of bolts when I used to sell fabric by the yard. I have a mystery box full of at least 20 yards of premium quality brand new fabric fabric waiting to go to one of you!

Just leave a comment below telling me which Craftsy class is on your “to-watch” list. Pretty soon, I will get back to my habit of regularly reviewing their online classes and I can’t wait. I have quite a few to watch in my queue!

To recap:

  • Enter the Craftsy Kit Giveaway here
  • To win my mystery fabric giveaway, leave a comment below telling me what’s on your Craftsy bucket list.
  • Both giveaways are open to US/Canadian addresses only (sorry – that darn postage gets me everytime!!)
  • Both giveaways end Wednesday, August 27th at Noon PST (or slightly later)
  • Craftsy will notify their winner; I will notify mine via email.

Updated – Thank you – we have our winners!!

Next on my Craftsy class list to purchase is the Improvisational Piecing class with Jacquie Gering. I’m watching her Creative Quilting with your Walking Foot right now and love the class and Jacquie’s teaching style. Thank you so much for letting us know about the Craftsy giveaway and especially for a chance to win fabric from you!

I would love to take a class on paper piecing. I have tried this method and just can’t seem to get accurate results. I need help! Thanks for a great blog and giveaway.

Thanks for the heads up on the craftsy giveaway. Next up for me might be Quick Quilts, precut piecing made simple by Camille Roskelley-and that’s because I just signed up for my #1 last night, a mystery quilt with Amy Gibson.

Creative quilting with your walking foot is my next choice. Christa, I’ve really been enjoying your blog. Thank you for this opportunity.

I did the Wendy Butler Burns art quilt. It was fun. I used those skills to make a Texas quilt for my sister and brother in law. They love it. They do such quality stuff. Can’t wait for you to make do an online class Christa. I will be the first in line to sign up!

My favorite Craftsy class (so far) is Creative Quilting with your Walking Foot. I haven’t been able to master free motion quilting as yet, so appreciated the tips and tricks of “getting it done”, just in another way (that works for me).

I have signed up for two classes that I have not started yet. Looks like I’ll have fun this winter learning “Machine Quilting Whole Cloths” by Cindy Needham and “Simple Fresh Quilts” with Joanna Figueroa. I can’t wait to start.

I have done several classes at Craftsy. I guess my number one pick its Kaye England ‘s reproduction civil war quilt. Love my quilt and she is a super teacher.

I’ve taken many classes from Craftsy and my all time favorite is Big Techniques from Small Scraps with Sarah Fielke. I love her soft spoken style and I keep going back to the technique she’s taught. (I really love all the Kimbery Einmo classes as well!)

I actually have a huge que of classes I’ve paid for plus a few more on my wish list. First I have to finish watching Free Motion Quilting a Sampler, and then next I think I’ll look at Caro Sheridan’s Pictures to Pixel Quilts.

I really need to watch “Quilting BIg Projects on a Small Machine.” My MIL told me it helped her bunches. Thanks for the chance!

I have signed up for the class about quilting big quilts on a small machine and need to make time to watch that. I’m looking forward to it, just trying to find quiet time so I can concentrate. Thanks for the giveaway.

For some reason I am enchanted by handwork and want to (correctly) learn to hand quilt. I’ve viewed Sarah Fielke’s big stitch method and want to venture out into regular quilting.
