Paula Nadelstern Kaleidoscope Quilt

Here is one of the beautiful quilts that I saw at Road to California. I was intrigued by this quilt because it uses Paula Nadelstern’s Nuance fabric which I happen to carry. Each star on the front used a different kaleidoscope motif for the block centers.

Hi Christa: I loved the pictures from your quilting class in California! How fun! You are amazing to keep improving your skills as a quilter! You are such an inspiration! I’ve been feeling I need to branch out, too, so we’ll have to see where that might lead me. I’d like to start taking a class or two once in a while. I need to improve my machine quilting skills. I love doing the piecing so I’m always finding someone else in Project Linus to do my machine quilting for me. I can do simple techniques, but would like to do free motion with loopty-loops, etc. I am making the new Project Linus quilt pattern that comes out in the Dec./Jan issue each year just for Project Linus. It’s paper pieced. I took a class a few years back and learned it quickly when only 4 people in the class. Anyway, when it is completed, I will FOR SURE be sending you a picture of it for your blog/website. Thanks again for your inspiring blog and the classes you have been to! Paula
