Recently I blogged about how cool I think it is that Craftsy offers so many online classes for free. Well guess what? I just got an email from them telling me about a brand new free class that just launched called, “Piece, Patch, Quilt” – Basic Quilt Making Skills.
No matter how many quilts I make, I can always pick up a tip or two from any class I take, especially when it’s free!
Thank you letting us know!
I signed up for this the other day – figured it would be a good brush up to watch while I’m sewing – and I forwarded it to a friend about to start her first quilt. Love Craftsy!
I love Craftsy classes, my 1st blocks came from the BOM series.
thanks for the link!
Thanks for posting…just signed up. I’ve now got 4 classes that I have to watch! I’m going to try to make a dent in that this weekend!
I haven’t gotten through all of the lessons, but I would definitely share it with beginners. I didn’t find anything new, yet. I’m glad there is a beginning class like this. When going through other classes I didn’t really think about the fact that their other free quilting classes assumed you already knew all there was to know about basic piecing.
I signed up last night and so far I’ve learnt a few things and I’ve only watched the cutting and fabric lessons. Gotta love craftsy… And FREE. I also recomended it to a few friends who are just starting out
