Have you heard the news? QuiltCon is coming again in 2015! Put on by the Modern Quilt Guild, it’s going to be an amazing show full of modern quilts, workshops, lectures and special exhibits! Click here for full details and schedule of special exhibits!
General registration opens July 1st, but if you are a MQG member, you’ll get a chance to register early on June 24th! So be sure to join the Modern Guilt Guild here, if you haven’t already.
An extra benefit for MQG members for 2014 is a series of free modern patterns published in the guild’s members-only newsletter. These have been designed by 12 different MQG members, maybe even by people you know. 🙂 So I’m just saying, it would be really good for you to sign up and become a member now, like before next month (hint, hint)!
Booked my room. Glad I have a year to figure out how to pay for this trip!!
Hotel room booked….waiting for flights to start posting (they only let you look 360 days out)….have the registration date programmed into my phone…..yay!
My local guild (which I will be joining at the next meeting) is a prospective member, I know they were putting together bylaws and stuff at the last meeting. Anyway, I’m pretty excited about QuiltCon! Definitely trying to find a way to go to it!
This looks like it will be a magical weekend! And in my neck of the woods to boot!!! 🙂
Will I fit in your suitcase, Christa? I did take your advice and have signed up as an individual. Better get planning now if I want to make this dream into a reality! Or go out and get my lottery ticket now!
Hmmm, whatcha saying Christa…that if I want a Christa exclusive I better sign-up now…hahaha!!
QuiltCon had me going all Friday, it was a nice way to end the week on a high-note. Hopefully we will run into one another again randomly like we did last time.
