It’s Time for Another Fabric Giveaway – One from Me, One from Craftsy

I usually don’t promote companies who sell fabric since that’s an integral part of my business. However, when it comes to Craftsy, I don’t mind singing their praises. They’ve been very good to me in helping get my name out there via their blog, so I don’t mind returning the favor whenever I hear about something cool they are doing. 🙂

craftsy_kitI’m kind of partial to the Blue Garden kit, myself!

From now through August 27th, you can win a Craftsy quilt kit (including backing) from one of the two choices above. Craftsy is holding this giveaway on their website, so be sure and click here to enter.

And now, just to sweeten the pot, I’ll add my own giveaway to the fun! I have a heaping pile of hunks and chunks leftover from ends of bolts when I used to sell fabric by the yard. I have a mystery box full of at least 20 yards of premium quality brand new fabric fabric waiting to go to one of you!

Just leave a comment below telling me which Craftsy class is on your “to-watch” list. Pretty soon, I will get back to my habit of regularly reviewing their online classes and I can’t wait. I have quite a few to watch in my queue!

To recap:

  • Enter the Craftsy Kit Giveaway here
  • To win my mystery fabric giveaway, leave a comment below telling me what’s on your Craftsy bucket list.
  • Both giveaways are open to US/Canadian addresses only (sorry – that darn postage gets me everytime!!)
  • Both giveaways end Wednesday, August 27th at Noon PST (or slightly later)
  • Craftsy will notify their winner; I will notify mine via email.

Updated – Thank you – we have our winners!!

There are so many to pick from but first on my list would be Quilting Quickly with Jenny Doan. I think she is an awesome teacher and I watch her you tube videos all the time..

I REALLY need to start doing my own machine quilting but I just have a small machine so Ann Petersen’s “Quilting Big Projects on a Small Machine” is the one I need.

Though I love quilting I also enjoy other crafts too. I plan on using craftsy to perfect my doughnuts in the very near future! Love both your posts and craftsy. Thanks for the chance.

I so want to take the machine quilting class with feathers. I have several of the freebies that I have watched and have learned so much from them!

I watch the classes I’ve bought over and over but the next I think I will focus on is Beginner Serger. I have many serger projects lined up for when I “get done” with my quilting projects – ha ha! Thanks for the generous giveaway.

I’m enrolled in a lot of Craftsy classes but the next one I really need to work on is Leah Day’s free motion class. I have the sample blocks made – just need to start doing it!!

I have several on my wish list including 3 Blocks 30 Quilts and Machine Embroidered Lace Classics. I’m new to quilting and have learned so much through Craftsy classes.

I have never taken one of their classes. But if I did take one, it would be on one FMQing. I’m a beginner so taking a ‘class’ would probably be helpful. Thanks for the great giveaway.

I want to take some of the free motion quilting classes. I do ok, but I would love to do better. Thanks for the chance.

Quilting Big Projects on a Small Machine is on my list of classes to watch. I have had it for a while but haven’t watched it. I’m a hand quilter so it’s not an immediate ‘need.’ I just want to watch it to learn.

Let’s see…………so many Craftsy classes are in my Wishlist. I’d have to say that Ann Peterson’s Playing With Curves is my next choice.

I just finished Jacquie Gering’s class Quilting with your Walking Foot. It was great and I am quilting my nephew daughter a quilt right now. I love Craftsy classes, I have not had a bad one yet. Thanks

I have been quilting for about 3 years and would like to learn paper piecing, and applique. I have done some Craftsy classes before and they are very good.

I just signed up for Angela Walters feathers class. I don’t like formal feathers but like her free, modern ones.
