It’s Time for Another Fabric Giveaway – One from Me, One from Craftsy

I usually don’t promote companies who sell fabric since that’s an integral part of my business. However, when it comes to Craftsy, I don’t mind singing their praises. They’ve been very good to me in helping get my name out there via their blog, so I don’t mind returning the favor whenever I hear about something cool they are doing. 🙂

craftsy_kitI’m kind of partial to the Blue Garden kit, myself!

From now through August 27th, you can win a Craftsy quilt kit (including backing) from one of the two choices above. Craftsy is holding this giveaway on their website, so be sure and click here to enter.

And now, just to sweeten the pot, I’ll add my own giveaway to the fun! I have a heaping pile of hunks and chunks leftover from ends of bolts when I used to sell fabric by the yard. I have a mystery box full of at least 20 yards of premium quality brand new fabric fabric waiting to go to one of you!

Just leave a comment below telling me which Craftsy class is on your “to-watch” list. Pretty soon, I will get back to my habit of regularly reviewing their online classes and I can’t wait. I have quite a few to watch in my queue!

To recap:

  • Enter the Craftsy Kit Giveaway here
  • To win my mystery fabric giveaway, leave a comment below telling me what’s on your Craftsy bucket list.
  • Both giveaways are open to US/Canadian addresses only (sorry – that darn postage gets me everytime!!)
  • Both giveaways end Wednesday, August 27th at Noon PST (or slightly later)
  • Craftsy will notify their winner; I will notify mine via email.

Updated – Thank you – we have our winners!!

I really want to take the creative quilting with your walking foot. I love free motion quilting but I know that the walking foot has to be capable of so much more!

I have several Craftsy classes on my wish list, including Inspired Modern Quilts, Diamond designs, Bargello, and others. I recently signed up for 4 others during their recent sale. I’m currently watching the free motion quilting with a walking foot that you reviewed.

I took advantage of the 50% sale recently and bought J. Gering’s walking foot class, I’ve already listened to 3 sessions and ready to start my machine!. I have a doll quilt that needs straight stitching, great timing. And Christa, you keep up the good work also. Kathy in Colo

I didn’t even know there was such a diverse list of free classes! (That’s all that’s in my budget right now). I want to do the Acrylic Flower painting, and the Sewing Machine Feet from A to Z class.

I’ve registered for Magic Jelly Roll Quilts but haven’t watched it yet. My next class will be Introduction to Bargello Quilts. I really love being able to see how it’s done as well as read the instructions.

I have taken one class with Leah Day and love her style of teaching. So I guess any class by Leah Day would have to be on my list with Craftsy. There are actually many classes I would like to take but haven’t the time to sit and watch them, I have a new Basset Hound puppy and she is taking so much time to train and she wants my attention just like a newborn baby would. (sigh)

I have 78 paid classes on my wish list – EEK! I also have 20 that I’m enrolled in, but 19 of those are free. I finally paid for a class and need to find time to watch it – Quilting Big Projects on a Small Machine. Maybe once I watch it I can finish some of my many WIPs!
