I just recently started playing with machine applique and I think I’m getting the hang of it but could definitely use more practice!
I like machine quilting, because it’s so much quicker. However, if I have loads of time and am not in a hurry, I do still prefer hand applique.
Beautiful work! I am not a huge fan of applique because I find it tedious but I do like the shabby chic look of raw edge applique and the ease of doing it vs traditional methods.
I like machine applique for things I’m giving away, but really I love the look of needle turn applique, and that is what I do my own things in.
It scares me! But I love the finished product, baby! Sometimes you’ve gotta get out of your comfort zone and realize that your prized quilt WILL be just beautiful.
I enjoy machine applique. My to do list gets longer every day!
Love, love, love machine applique! If it weren’t for machine applique, I wouldn’t be doing any applique at all.
love it ..but right now till i learn it better love somebody else doing it. but will get better at it 1 day and really love it
i have only tried it 1 time ..love it but need alot more practice soooo i would say at the moment i like somebody else doing it . but will learn and love it

i LOVE TO HAND APPLIQUE SMALL PROJECTS, WHILE LARGE APPLIQUE PROJECTS I CHOSE TO MACHINE.
Machine applique definitely has a place in the world of quilting but it’s not for everything. You also have to have the right kind of fusible.
I love machine quilting. It makes me feel like a kid again and when I was bored I would doodle on just about anything. Now I won’t get in trouble for it,

I have done some machine appliqué but still need to perfect! Use it when I want to finish fast, otherwise I love handwork overall!
I prefer the look of hand applique, but machine is so much quicker.
Raw edge appliqué is my preferred method of doing appliqué…down and dirty!
