A week later, I’m still basking in the glow of the awesomeness that was QuiltCon. Why don’t we have a giveaway so that I can share some of that awesomeness with you?
QuiltCon Magazine features many of the show quilts plus new original patterns.
First up, is a copy of QuiltCon magazine from Interweave. I was thrilled that two of my quilts were showcased in the magazine so I eagerly bought a copy for myself at the show. The publisher kindly sent me another copy for being a contributor, so I’m happy to pass that along to one of you!
Spiralling Out of Control and Modern X were both featured in QuiltCon Magazine.
Next, I received a bit of swag in my goody bag so I’m happy to offer up this beautiful charm pack of Casablanca by Benartex to one of you!
Here’s How to Enter:
- Leave a comment below, letting me know whether or not you are thinking about attending a future QuiltCon. You can also mention if you were in Austin, or if you followed along virtually!
- I will draw 2 winners at random, one for each prize, and will announce their names on Thursday, March 5th.
- The contest is open to everyone, and comments close Wed, March 4th at 9 PM EST.

I’m in the UK so I’m unlikely to go to Quiltcon!!
I would love to go to QuiltCon because I love anything Quilts ! I will be in Austin in about three weeks as we are wintering in the area and we will be going through it to get to the Antique Fair nearby, but no, I did not get in on any of the action. I rarely win anything, but I try anyway ! I will be one grateful happy camper if I win. Thanks for being so generous.
I didn’t attend because I can’t afford the airfare and leaving my kiddos! But I’d love to go in the future. Looks like so many awesome projects and presenters.
Don’t think I will be going to Quiltcon as live too far away but love hearing about it
Following along with your posts made me want to attend QuiltCon very much and I do plan to go in the future. I live in Shreveport LA and attend Houston Festival every year so it’s very doable for me to go to Austin.
Now that there will be a West Coast QuiltCon, maybe I’ll get there some day. I am in Northern CA so next year could be it?!
I am so excited that QuiltCon is coming to Pasadena. The dates are on my calendar. I’ve suggested our guild schedule a bus trip and I’m working on my Pirtland, OR friends to have them make a vacation around those dates. Great show!
I would definitely like to attend QuiltCon, but unless one comes to the Kansas City area I would be physically unable to go. Guess that means I will be a virtual attendee. Thanks for letting me “be there” with you Christa. Nancy
I would love to go to quiltcon. I think it will only be a dream for my friends and myself since we live so far away.
I would love to go to QuiltCon some day.
How I wish I could go to Quiltcon but I doubt it as of right now. Austin is far away from NY. But I am going to an international quilt show in NJ next weekend. I am so excited, I can’t wait. I find the beauty and talent so wonderful at these shows. I am happy many people post pictures from Quiltcon so I can get a little taste of it. Thanks for the give away!
I am meeting with my quilt buddy later this month and I will ask her if she wants to attend a QuiltCon with me next year or the year after. We go to a few quilt shows together throughout the year (she lives in another city.)
Quiltcon does sound like fun, but I don’t think I could attend-sorry.
Thanks,
Peggy

I followed Quilt Con virtually and would love to go to Quilt Con in the near future.
Hi there Christa,
I would love to go to QuiltCon, but will probably never make it as I live on a Disability pension. Never been to Austin either, but I hear it is a happening place on the food and entertainment scenes.
I would love to have that magasine with your quilts in it!
Thanks!
Jacqueline
I didn’t get to go to Austin, and probably won’t get to go next time either, but I love viewing your posts. If I win the magazine will you please autograph it for me — on the pages your quilts are shown. I would love that.
I plan to go to the Savannah one in two years since that will be within driving distance!
I would love to go to quiltcon sometime. Is it just for professionals, quilt business people or can anyone interested in quilting no matter what their level of expertise go?
I would love to go some day… Thank you for giving us a taste of QuiltCon on your blog. It looks amazing!
I’d love to go to QuiltCon. Maye next time.
I wish I’d gone to Austin. That’s my birthplace, and here I sit in the DFW area, so CLOSE! I pass Austin every time I drive down to San Antonio to visit my daughter and grand babies. Someday I will go, Texas or not! 🙂
I would love to go to a QuiltCon ! Maybe Savannah? Mary Kirchoff
I’d love to go someday. It is a trip from the east coast-have to save up for it!
I am a new quilter & only learned about QuiltCon recently after starting to follow you. One day I clicked on the QuiltCon link and found out it would be that weekend & only an hour away. I went. What an opportunity. So many ideas. So much of what is possible.
I had to follow QuiltCon in the virtual sense, but I’d LOVE to be there in person to see all that quilty goodness. Thanks for the chance ~ fingers crossed!!

Hi Christa, Thanks for the giveaway opportunity. I would really love to attend a QuiltCon if there will be one close to Illinois in the future, although at my age, following along online is a better option.

I’m hankerin’ to attend a major quilt show!
I was not in Austin😪, but would love to attend a future QuiltCon.
Would love to attend Quiltcon – always so inspiring to go to a quilt show and absorb the enthusiasm! Was not in Austin, but always enjoy the pictures and your blog!
I was at QuiltCon for the first time in Austin. I’m still on a quilty high and trying to assimilate it all! I’m making my hotel reservation for Savannah 2017 already and planning to bring a ton of us Floridians along with me. I plan to take as many lectures as I can possibly fit in again. They were so inspiring, as well as the workshops.
I’m not sure if I can make it to Austin, but I’ll certainly see you ate the NQA show in Little Rock in June. Hoping to see lots of Modern quilts there.
I definitely want to attend sometime. I wasn’t able to attend this year, but have loved following the blogs telling about it. Thank you so much for sharing pics of all the beautiful quilts there. Thanks for the giveaway!
