Arrow Sewing Chair Giveaway!! The Best Chair Ever!

Update: the giveaway is now over. Congrats to Cheryl C. from New York who won and picked the Duchess Blue chair. I’m sure it will look great in her sewing space!!

I’ve been thrilled that so many of you love my Christa Cabinet from Arrow Sewing. Once I started using the cabinet, I needed a chair to go along with it! So I picked out their hydraulic sewing chair in grey. I’m telling you, this is hands down the most comfortable chair for sewing I’ve ever tried!

Actual view of my sewing table with hydraulic chair. Off to my left is the Tasmanian table which is height adjustable and perfect for cutting!

In fact, I love this chair “sew” much that I got a 2nd one in blue for my computer desk which is along an opposite wall. These chairs are so comfy and give lumbar support right where you need it. They are adjustable and even have a storage compartment hidden in the seat!

I chose the plain colored chairs to match my sewing room, but they come in lots of colorful prints, too!

Here’s How You Can Win One!

Just leave a comment on this post telling me where you sew! Whether it’s a dream studio, or a tiny corner in your home, you can make your space more comfy with one of these chairs.

Now the fine print: due to shipping restrictions this giveaway is open to US residents only. The giveaway will be open through the end of the day on Monday, May 27, 2024. I’ll choose a winner randomly from all the comments received and will contact them directly. The chair will ship directly from Arrow Sewing.

Good luck and happy sewing!!

Hello! I sew in a closet and use a folding chair. I have always dreamed of owning an Arrow chair. Someday I’d even like to have an entire room and setup like yours. :-). It’s beautiful!

I have my dining room table that we never use dedicated to my love of sewing. Then I also have several antique sewing machines in beautiful cabinets that I have situated here and there. They are beautiful to look at and awesome to sew with. I switch up using from time to time, but there seems to be a problem with this arrangement ! They lack the perfect chair. That said…I often struggle being comfortable when I sew due to chronic back pain from arthritis and degenerative disc disease. Having an adjustable, comfortable chair with storage as well would be such a blessing! If I was to receive fortunate enough to receive one I would pay it forward by donating one or two of my 10 sewing machines to a women’s shelter. That would give me more room for a lovely new sewing chair! 🙏🏻💕🙏🏻 Thank you for your thoughtful and kind gesture.🙏🏻💕❤️

I sew in our extra bedroom. Our extra bedroom is working triple time as a guest bedroom, home office, and a sewing room. It’s honestly the best bedroom in the house with the best natural light and a huge window overlooking the backyard, and I’m dreading the day when my kids realize this and fight over the room!! (They will have to go through me!!)

since the passing of my husband three years ago I turned my whole house into a sewing house. I have a little U-shape for my longarm (sit down), my Juki for piecing and my work table. I’d sit it right there and pass along my chair to one of the other stations lol would love this chair❤️

I share a room with my family’s clutter. I am slowly, but surely making more space for my sewing area. 😊 That chair is beautiful and would be wonderful in my newly cleared space.

I have two spots to sew, my sewing room and my living room. I used to only sew in the sewing room, but my pet rabbit would sit right outside the bunny barrier sadly staring at me. Now I sew in the living room so it won’t be lonely.

We are in the process of building a She Shed (now known as She Mansion). It is 12′ x 24′. The upstairs will be storage for the house items. Super excited but taking forever! I just got married last year and moved into his 1000 sq ft house. So he is building me the She Mansion! Now to collect the right storage and cabinets!

I sew in my kitchen, with a chair pulled up to the round kitchen table. It’s not the best arrangement, but it’s all I have to work with so I make do. I certainly could use a better chair! Thank you for your expertise, you have helped me so many times. And thank you for the opportunity to have a chance of winning a lovely Arrow Sewing Chair.

    In stitches,

Our old house has a back room add-on; never big enough but lots of windows. it also gets cold drafts in the winter. I have two lovely machines set up in there, other work tables and storage for scraps and thread and irons and too much stuff in there, especially the unfinished projects. I use an old office chair for sewing. I would LOVE one of these chairs.

A few years ago, I turned a spare bedroom into my sewing room. My grown kids don’t come home often so I only felt a little guilty removing the bedroom suit. I love my little area and would love the sewing-themed chair.

Oh the fun prints on the chair are so beautiful. The chair truly does look rather comfy. I have a tiny corner in my room for the sewing machine. If I’m just doing something small by hand I just sit on the couch for that.

    Thanks for doing this giveaway!

After the last of our children married and moved out, I moved from the walkout basement to her second-floor room with an east- and north-facing window. Across the landing in a smaller room that serves as an office, I keep the bins containing my smallish stash.

Love this chair! My sewing workshop is located in the main living room of my apartment since it’s the biggest room that accommodates a large cutting table and and long desk/sewing table that accommodates 2 sewing machines and a serger.

I was a nurse and recently retired to help care for my mom who has dementia. I was all set up to finally be able to quilt as much as I wanted to. We turned a spare bedroom into the sewing room and I actually taught my husband to quilt! So now we need another chair because we took an old desk chair and it keeps sinking lower and lower when you sit in it! He is always so sweet and gives me the better chair. I priced one of these at Paducah AQS quilt show but it’s just too much for our budget at the moment as we are nervous about the retirement budget until we see how it’s going to work out! My husband took an old drafting table and cut an opening to fit his machine and it’s perfect. We put the computer and a little desk we found inside the closet and made a little office that we love in the closet. I have an older EQ5 program in there so I can sit in there and plan my quilts if I could keep my chair up! lol

Once my kids moved out I used a very small bedroom as my sewing room.

Two and a half years ago my sister could no longer safely live alone so she moved in with us and into the small bedroom.

Now I use the dining room table as a cutting table and sewing area.

Hello there. I sew in what used to be my dining room. I gave up my sewing room because my granddaughter needed a place to stay. It took me hours of work to relocate everything to the dining room and she wound up staying only for a short time. I recently got a hip replacement so I don’t have the energy to put everything back in the sewing room yet. When I do, it will be a good opportunity for my to edit as Tim Gunn would say. 😁 I have learned from this experience that I don’t desire to give up my sewing room not even for the children I love so much. For the many years I raised my children I sewed wherever I could find a spot. Having a dedicated room for sewing and crafting gives me so much joy that I don’t want to give that up again. I think I served my sacrificial mom time, now I get a sewing room good behavior 🤪

My quilting room is in a spare bedroom. I have my Christa Cabinet with my Bernina 770 set in position in the middle of the room. Behind my IKEA chair is a bookshelf. My design wall is to the right of my sewing machine and fabric in bins under the window. I could use more space (but who couldn’t!) but I am happy to have the space I have.

I share my space with the laundry, but it has a great view, and, being in the basement, stays cool even in the hottest days of summer. What about the winter you ask? Isn’t that chilly? No, because there is also a wood stove. I love the space. It is my quiet-me-time part of the house.

Hey there! I am took over my son’s bedroom when he left for college, however that only lasted for a year. He’s back home but I managed to keep his room and he took the small bedroom. I love my space and the peace it brings me, as well as my sweet helper cats, Chloe and Ginger! I have a number of pieces of furniture that were passed down. One is a computer desk my father made for my older son 25 years ago, as well as a large display cabinet from my MIL, where I can “display” my prized fabric kits and precuts 🙂 I am struggling with a rheumatoid type arthritis and have searched high and low for a chair that “fits”. I was finally able to try one of these Arrow chairs on my ventures through the All Texas Shop Hop, and they remind me of the old sewing benches that my Mom and Memere had. With a typical computer chair at my machine, I find it hard to be at just the right height and am limited in the amount of time I find comfort while sitting. God bless and thank you for the opportunity and all the enjoyment and inspiration you invoke!

I sew in an extra bedroom on a student desk beside the bed. The bed acts as my design wall or layout area. My chair is a swivel office chair that I took the back off to make it easier to turn around in. The area is very small and cramped but I make it work for me.

I sew in the basement which sounds drab, but since it’s a walk-out, it’s actually lovely. I have commandeered two small closets for fabric and supplies. They are packed full. I have built a design wall on on side and have my sewing table set up in front of it with my ironing board set up on the other side of my sewing table. I feel fortunate to have this space.

    Thank you for the opportunity!
