Would you believe, ten years LATER, I finished quilting mine today and a friend will bind it in April for me? I don’t know why I waited years to do that last hour of quilting! I love my version in Christmas fabrics.
Hello Christa,
I would like to do your modern xmas trees for this years Christmas but i cant seem to Download the Pattern. Is there any other way to get hold of the pattern please.
Grüße Sylvia
Thanks! I’m glad you like it! There’s no pattern for it yet – just a step by step series of tutorials. Click each link on the page to take you to that step of the tutorial.
At the bottom there is a link to import it into EQ7 but it only works if you have the software installed on your computer. I hope that helps!
Just got home from MQX where I saw your quilt today, Christa! It was so neat to see it in person after having seen your progress week after week here on your blog : ) It’s gorgeous, and the detail of your FMQ up close is amazing! Congrats!
Thanks! I’m glad it looked good in person. I hope you had a fabulous time!
While uploading progress photos of my “string of pearls” quilt yesterday, I saw some photos of this Modern Christmas Trees quilt, so decided to give it a shot. I started mine yesterday, and just posted on your Flickr group a photo of my progress so far. I’m amazed how fast and easy this pattern is (for the blocks), so I decided to make a lap quilt size rather than a wall hanging. I would’ve been finished with the quilt top today had I not run out of the red fabric I was using. But I guess that’s what happens when you use leftover fabric from other projects :o/
