This is to get you guys jazzed about my upcoming Quilt Along which starts next week!

Included in the bundle are 8 fat quarters of the exact same colors I am using in my version of Abacus. They are: Navy, Turquoise, Baby Blue, Jade Green, Berry, Cerise, Petunia and Pomegranate. Also included is a nice sized chunk of Medium Grey which is what I picked for my background and binding.

Now, you don’t have to quilt along to enter and win, and what you make from these fabrics is entirely up to you! The contest is open to everyone through next Tuesday at noon.

To enter, just leave a comment below telling me which is your favorite quilt along that I’ve offered (or one you’d love for me to do in the future).

I know we don’t all have time to do every quilt along, but isn’t it fun to dream, or follow along virtually?

I think Charming Chevrons is my favorite, but I have learned a lot “reading-along” with all of them. Thanks for your work and inspiration!

I really want to do your modern trees (scrappy mode) and I love the sea of squares – not sure about wanting to tackle applique and circles –

I haven’t followed along with any of your quilt alongs but I loved seeing all the different versions of the modern trees quilt.

I love your Charming Chevron quilt along. The quilting on that is amazing!!! So many pretty colors too! I also love your modern trees and want to do that for christmas this year. Thanks for the chance to win this lovely stack of fat quarters.

I am loving the Modern Trees. My head is already gearing up for the holiday season. I am, however, enjoying the beginning of fall.

Definitely the Charming Chevrons. It’s eye popping color and pattern just screamed “Make me, please make me”, so I guess I’ll have to purchase the pattern so that, when I find the time, I will make it, either for me, or one of our married grandchildren. Thank you for the giveaway opportunity.

I just happened here looking for quilt pattern. So I do not have a favorite yet but love being here in Time to do the Abbacus Quilt Would love the beautiful fabric to use in it.

My favorite is Modern Trees — your very detailed instructions from the supply list to bound quilt are very helpful. I particularly welcome the machine quilting techniques and instructions since many patterns just indicate “quilt and bind.” The information about approximate time for each step also give me a clue as to whether this will be project I can finish in a reasonable amount of time or will be a lifetime endeavor.

Thanks again for all of your efforts to provide the quilt alongs and I look forward to the next quilt.

I have completed 4 of your quilt alongs. Instructions are always clear and easy to follow. The modern trees was fun and turned out well. Thanks for the chance.

I’ve not yet done a QAL-just a beginner here but enjoy reading and learning the whole process. Getting ready to pick one and dive in! The Kona solids are gorgeous. Don’t have any of those yet in my small stash!

My favorite ( and only one so far 🙂 ) is the modern trees! I got the top finished this summer and just need to quilt it- which I can’t wait to do! Plan on doing just as you did yours! Thanks!

Oi’ve only been following your blog for a short time so haven’t done a QAL but would like to do the Abacus. Is it possible to get a PDF copy? I will check out the posting for other QALs but here are some possible topics: 4th of July or celebration, round Robin where you could say add round 2 – use squares and then give some suggestions such as checkerboard or large squares or square in a square. Thanks.
