This is to get you guys jazzed about my upcoming Quilt Along which starts next week!

Included in the bundle are 8 fat quarters of the exact same colors I am using in my version of Abacus. They are: Navy, Turquoise, Baby Blue, Jade Green, Berry, Cerise, Petunia and Pomegranate. Also included is a nice sized chunk of Medium Grey which is what I picked for my background and binding.

I like the look of your sea of squares quilt. I’ve not participated in a quilt along. I know a lot of people have fun doing them. I haven’t had the time available to commit to something like that.

It was your Charming Chevrons that got me into quilting so that’s my favorite. I missed the actual QAL but went through it on my own as I made my quilt. I’d love to do the Abacus QAL but think I’ll wait until I can get one of those cutters to cut all the circles! Thanks for all the effort you put into your QALs.

I really love the look of Modern Trees! Haven’t joined any of your QAL’s so far. I’m more of traditional quilter–mainly just dipping my toes in the water because I love some of the modern quilts.:)

I like abacus, but I’m a sucker for circles. 🙂 I also wanted to make your tree quilt. One of these days I’ll have to make time to make decorations for my house! Thanks for the chance to win.

I haven’t done a quilt along with you but will make a few Baby Bricks with your tutorial. I have great grand babies an the way and these will make great gifts for the new little ones. I’ll keep checking for more QAL’s from you.

I love your trees quilt along! I’ve always wanted to make a trees quilt, and while I didn’t get to participate in the quilt along, I’ll be checking it out again when it comes time for me to make my own!

My favorite is Charming Chevrons! I just recently got the fabric for that one and am about to start it. This Abacus looks great too, though!

What a neat quilt! I have not been able to do a QAL as of yet but it’s on my bucket list, hehe. I love your Modern Trees quilt and glad you have it up as a tutorial. This quilt is also on my to-do list!

Thank you and Robert Kaufman for an awesome and generous giveaway.

I haven’t done a quilt along with you yet, but have read about many of them and have appreciated your lessons. My favorite quilt on your site is French Roses Quilt in Black and White – so beautiful also in the pale colors too. I’ve just recently dusted off my sewing machine again and will be cutting circles to follow along this time! My favorite fabrics are Kona solids. I love the sturdy feel of them and the beautiful colors. And I really like grey as a background too. So thanks for putting my name in the hat for this drawing!

I didn’t participate in the quilt along, but my favorite of the ones you’ve done is Baby Bricks. It’s a perfect quilt for a baby gift. I plan to make one as soon as I have the need.

I have not done a quilt along with you yet (mostly due to just discovering your site in more recent months) but I’m glad the information is still there. I want to tackle Modern Trees one of the these days especially because I think that with the way you’ve broken down machine quilting I could tackle it. Your instructions are clear and very encouraging – which I need!

My favorite quilt along of yours was the modern trees, which I actually have not done yet but want to start soon as I realized I have most of the fabrics in my stash already for the trees.

My favorite that you have done is Modern Trees because I really like the pattern, although I have not participated in any! I can’t wait till I am done being a student as well as working full time–hopefully I will be able to follow along in the future!

The Modern Trees is my favorite. It is fun to follow along even if I don’t participate because there is always something to learn while observing. Abacus is going to be a favorite of mine too.

Love your new quilt, Abacus. I’m thinking you might like math? I like the Modern trees best with the triangle within a triangle concept! svonfumetti at yahoo dot com

I have not done a quilt along with you but I have always loved the Charming Chevrons. This abacus has been on my radar since I found out my niece is having a baby boy.

Oh my goodness!!! I saw your Charming Chevrons on Pat ‘ s blog and fell in love! It’s so pretty. I can’t wait to make my own. And Sea of Squares, and abacus…I’m in modern quilt heaven.

I have not done yours, but i have the trees on my list!! My Daughter does not get a tree because she lacks the room for one and I think that will be a great substitution!! Plus I loved seeing all the different takes on that one!! The scrappy the solid! Some went with a traditional layout! etc…

I’m excited to try this QAL with you. Have never done one of yours in the past, but will definitely go and do some after this one is finished… Starting with Charming Chevrons. Love all the Kona solids… and I bought a sample book of their colors – Can’t wait to see how yours turns out, though I plan to do mine in scraps this time.
