How are you all coming on your Abacus Quilt Along? The best part of any group project is seeing how everyone interprets the pattern in their own colors and fabrics. In fact, I have an alternate colorway to share with you today. I call this colorway “Parfait,” using some of the new 2014 Kona Cotton colors with a white background. Isn’t it cheerful?

It contains 1 fat quarter of the following colors shown in my sketch above: Heliotrope, Honeysuckle, Grellow, Limelight, Creamsicle, Niagra, Titanium and Nectarine. It’s a toss up between BORDEAUX and TITANIUM.
I am in love with purples and teals right now. I am so glad to see they have some softer, toned down purples and teals. I can not wait to get my hands on the kona cottons! I love kona, and usually buy only that for solids!

I ❤ many of the colors, but ULTRA MARINE is my favorite.
Watermelon and geranium are lovely but they are all wonderful new colors! So useful to have colors like these in your stash!

Beautiful Kona colors – Malibu is my favorite
Nectarine along with the titanium (couldn’t pick just one) would be my favorites – they would go with my newly painted bedroom. All colors are so pretty.
They’ve come out with a lot of great new colors this year. I especially like the greens and purples. It’s hard to narrow it down but I’ll go with Grasshopper.

Pick ONE????? Really? But they are all so beautiful. love the SCONE and COBBLESTONE just for its subtleness, but like the GRELLOW and PARROT for the “old timey quilt” look.

Hard to pick just one, but I really love the Ultra Marine, Watermelon and Geranium, just to start with. Ooh Terra Cotta and Creamsicle are nice too. And Heliotrope, Nectarine and Titanium are great as well. It like chips, you just cant pick one! lol
