How are you all coming on your Abacus Quilt Along? The best part of any group project is seeing how everyone interprets the pattern in their own colors and fabrics. In fact, I have an alternate colorway to share with you today. I call this colorway “Parfait,” using some of the new 2014 Kona Cotton colors with a white background. Isn’t it cheerful?

Thanks to my generous friends at Robert Kaufman, one of you will get to win this lovely bundle! It contains 1 fat quarter of the following colors shown in my sketch above: Heliotrope, Honeysuckle, Grellow, Limelight, Creamsicle, Niagra, Titanium and Nectarine. Plus enough white for the background and binding. Aren’t those fun colors?

My favorite color is Astral, it was hart do choose with so many beautiful colors.
I was especially struck by both the terracotta and the nectarine. They would work well with some fall designs!
Malibu or Morning Glory are my favs.
Hmm, my choice kept changing as I scrolled through the page! I love the Malibu (maybe I love the idea of being in Malibu more!) then Titanium took my eye as a nice soft tone…they all look gorgeous. Now, must get back to doing the fill quilting on my Chain of Pearls, I am getting closer to finishing and I must say it’s looking good!
I can not decide between Dahlia and Ultra Marine as to which is my favorite. I am not usually a purple loving girl but Dahlia really caught my eye and I can’t get it out of my mind!

I can’t get over the Coral color, but then the purple really stands out to me as I love a rich purple. I love that this quilt really can go any way!
they call the color limelight, but to me it has always been “frog” green – love it, even on the Kia Soul I envy – makes great color for my appliqued leaves

I love both the Nectarine and Niagara. In fact, I have cardigan sweaters in both those colors! I would love to make a quilt with all of these solids.

There is no color in this collection that I don’t like, so I’ll just pick out Mediterranean to represent my 32 favorites.

Oh I love this parfait look. My favorite colors there are Mediterranean, Malibu, Astral, Jamaica. I can see this quilt in all different blues.
