Half the fun of hosting a quilt along is seeing all of the different quilts. Here are a few of the awesome variations that you guys shared via instagram (#abacusqal), flickr (christasquiltalong) and email!

Elizabeth aka Catskill Quilter with her rainbow colored version.
Elizabeth even made matching bibs. How cute!
Susan C. (slusclay on instagram) chose blue, green, and purple solids for her version. She did a fantastic job on the quilting!
Susan aka farmquilter chose a darker grey background for her top. I love it!
Sconehead1 changed up the bead count and used an awesome background!
Sewstitchingcute incorporated Cotton & Steel prints into her pretty piece! She also put the quilt on an angle and quilted more circles in the background. Isn’t that great?
Joanne P used batiks and made it her own with an extra bead and borders!
This quilt along was so fun and I can’t wait to do another in the spring!
They all look great!
I was excited to see my quilt on your blog! It was quick, and a lot of fun to make. I made it for a new baby.
What happened to the String of Pearls blog? I wanted to share a photo with you of a quilt where I used the gray/black format to highlight pictures drawn by children.
I’d love to see it! You can share it on my flickr group:
Those are all fun! Some great ideas to mix and match. Hoping I have time to join in the next one!
This was SUPER fun to make and I intend to make many more! It was super quick and it IS perfect for a baby gift. I REALLY love the idea of the bibs!!! Super awesome idea! Thanks again Christa! Can’t wait until Spring!
The variety in these is great to see. Sure understand why you like hosting your own along. That’s a neat design, Christa, and that’s because it has so many possibilities for interpretation. Well done, you!

Elizabeth, what a great idea for any baby gift: a quilt with matching bibs!
I love Joanna P’s escaped ball. So much fun!
What fun to see the different interpretations of your fun quilt. I’m still cutting my circles, squares and strips but plan on finishing a quilt too!
